Happy Friday! This week found us returning to the Sunflower Playground for lots of fun with Skyler 's buddies from church. Once we arrived, our active climber wasted no time and got reacquainted with the yellow tractor.
Charlotte and Oliver immediately followed.....
When we first visited this park, Skyler did not make any time for the sand pit area. This week proved to be different. Perhaps our recent trip to beach brought back some great memories.

I've mentioned a few times through out the blog about a sweet boy from church named Ben. He's Skyler's best bud and the two are usually joined at the hip. Anyway, he was able to join us this week, so I proudly introduce Ben......
I thought it was adorable, that he kept his hand on her leg while the swung together. I'm not sure if it was a show of protection or affection. When he swung with the boys, he didn't do the hand gesture! lol.....
We took a lunch break and everyone shared their goodies. Skyler is a big fruit lover, so there were many choices!

After lunch, it was full throttle at play, starting with some "make your own "music.
Skyler loves to climb and showed no fear in these colorful tubes. When she went from platform to platform, she would say each color out loud. Hearing her sweet little voice try to say purple was just so adorable. Each time she reach the tallest tube (red) she would clap!
By the end of our play date, Sky had to have a spin on the table top. I enjoyed watching her take control and manage her way on it. Such a big, independent girl and quite the athlete!
After a few hours, it was time to head home. We anticipate the next park adventure with our group in about 2 weeks. Had to include this last picture. It's a new expression Skyler makes when she doesn't want to do something....I guess it's better than screaming and throwing a fit! Makes ya wanna grab those cheeks and plant some sugar on her!
