Skyler & I took advantage of another beautiful, sunny day and headed to Lake Morton to feed the ducks and swans! Unfortunately, the only thing missing was Daddy. He was just one mile up the road refereeing the State Wrestling Tournament.
We spent over an hour with these gracious swans. I remember coming here as a family over 5 months ago and our little Princess was a bit timid of these beautiful birds. Today was definitely different. She couldn't wait to say hi!
We fed them a whole box of crackers. Do hope you enjoy these various photos of Sky in action. A few times she wanted to give them kisses but I had to tell her that they only like treats.
Skyler really liked the swan with the bright red beak and kept impersonating it by quaking!
This next photo shows our church in the back ground. Not only do we attend a service that has such wonderful fellowship and a great Pastor, but we have such a lovely view from our pew.
I told Skyler that her church was behind her which was a big dissapointment for the ducks & swans. She took off quickly to visit one of her favorite places, screaming "church-church" the entire way!
on a mission...............
She's at the exit doors to the dining room/reception areas. We meet upstairs for service, but enjoy the down stairs for pot luck and other dinner gatherings.
I told Sweet Pea that it was time to go back to the car so we could drive over to the Farmer's Market and continue our afternoon together.
Hope you all are enjoying Saturday as much as us...Bye for now!
