The Princess had tons of fun making Halloween treats for all her classmates. Skyler loves getting crafty with her Mummy, so we put our creative skills in motion and made Dracula & Ghost candy bars.
I photo copied 12 Dracula templates and 12 Ghost templates on purple and white card stock paper. Then our scissors got busy!
We glued on wiggly eyes and stuck our chocolate bars in the middle, using double sided tape. Hershey milk chocolate for the ghosts and Hershey cookies-n-cream chocolate bars for the Draculas.
The adorable finished product....
Speaking of Skyler's wonderful teacher, we wanted to make an extra special Halloween gift just for her.
The Princess and I headed to the store and bought the cutest glass pumpkin candy dish and filled it with Hershey kisses and plastic spiders. We then printed a gift tag that read, "Bugs & Kisses". After tying it around the stem of the glass pumpkin with decorative ribbon, Sky was so anxious to personally deliver it to school that Halloween morning.
It turned out so darn cute!
The children were asked to dress up as their favorite story book character and also bring the book to class on the morning of Halloween. Skyler chose Pinkalicious! An adorable book about a little girl would loved everything pink, especially cupcakes! Quite fitting, indeed!
Cousin Nikki gifted this sparkling picture book and it has definitely become one of our Princess' favorites! Daddy and I bought her the latest book from the series titled, "Silverlicious". It will be wrapped under the tree very soon! Here's our very own Sweet and Lovable Pinkalicious.....
Halloween at school was such a fun filled day for Skyler. I was fortunate to be apart of their morning and watch Sky stand up in front of her class to talk about her chosen book and why she picked it. Her teacher, Mrs Fitzsimmons, dressed up as a spider from Charlotte's Web. We are truly blessed to have her as Skyler's PreK teacher.
Another successful school day and the treats were a hit!
