In golf terms, an Ace is a hole-in-one or a score of 1 on a hole. In Mommy verbiage it means A+. Yes, Skyler is our Ace and through my parenting eyes.......she's just perfect and as precious as all get out!
For over a month, the Princess has been taking golf lessons, every Monday afternoon, with Coach Beverly at YMCA's First Tee. What a great opportunity to not only get her involved in a sport that her Papa and Daddy loves dearly, but this top youth development program teaches life skills and leadership through golf.
Skyler has her own set of little clubs and Coach Beverly has been putting them to use! They work on chipping, putting and driving.
On the 21st of April, my little golfer turned in her very first score sheet from hole #7. Although it took her 12 strokes to get hole the cup, she enjoyed the challenge. In these next three pictures you see Coach Beverly working with Skyler on this 6 foot put.
She almost got it in the hole and Coach Beverly is talking to her congratulating her on her concentration and effort. Look how close she came.........

Daddy has been practicing with Skyler on the golf course and at home. Per Skyler's request, the home lessons involve dresses and NO shoes! Sometime you just have to choose your battles wisely. lol...
