Bonuses

Family is great but having friends makes life just a bit sweeter. Call it a bonus! The Princess met Reese two months ago at school. She's attended Skyler's birthday party and although Sky moved up in classes, they still get to play together during recess.

Yesterday, Reese joined Skyler's gymnastics class! These two girls stayed giddy the entire time and even enjoyed dinner together afterwards. It's lovely to see the children form a friendship outside of school. In fact, this Sunday, we've all been invited to Reese's house for a cookout and to swim. Our water tot can't stop talking about our plans after church.

Speaking of bonuses, we managed to squeeze in some play time at the park in between the evening showers. Here's our sweetie swinging on the "big girl" swing set. No buckles or safety devices needed. What a pro!

Skyler loves to climb, has no fear of heights and is very adventurous. These colorful pedestals teaches balance and confidence as they take huge leaps from one to another.

More balancing fun....

The adventure continues...
Nothing stopping this future hiker/climber...

Our dare devil...lol!

Not only is Skyler adventurous, but she's quite independent. Always trying to do things without an out stretched hand.
Our wonderful bonuses have continued throughout the summer. We often visit "Skyler's Fountain" at Lakeside Village so our Sweetie can (as she calls it) throw "Pennies in for Papa".
We're wearing our bathing suits a lot...
Attending parties is also a fun bonus. Recently, our dear friends Skip & Maryl Richey held a graduation party for their daughter, Kaitlyn. We were excited to attend and wouldn't of missed this great accomplishment. Having the Richey Family in our lives is definitely a bonus. Kaitlyn just completed her degree at Florida Gulf Coast College in Ft. Meyers. It was also a "good wishes" party as she planned to begin an acting career in Hollywood, California a few days after the party.

If you think about it, bonuses are really like blessings.
Wonderful treasures that brings boundless smiles.
