Fall Fun!

The Princess is loving the Fall season and we've been enjoying the many activities that go along with it, especially decorating! The outside and inside of our home display a variety of pumpkins and "all things" Fall. Skyler especially liked helping me create our annual indoor pumpkin patch.
 Before church....
Two weeks ago, we all headed to the Harvest Holler Corn Maze and Pumpkin patch in Polk City immediately after church. It was a great family day filled with tons of activities for the Princess.
Once we arrived, Sky greeted some farm animals and then immediately headed to the pumpkin patch.

We were all excited to walk through the corn maze. A first for all three of us! Skyler led the way.....

 Entering the maze....

Were getting lost is all about finding fun!

Once we found our way out of the maze, we were greeted to a lovely row of sunflowers.
Our family jumped on the hay ride that took us around the festival and then to a large fenced area of cows and horses. Skyler felt right at home feeding the furry firneds!

Our seat was right in front of the entrance/exit area, so we had many hungry greeters come visit up close and personal!

The activities continued for Sky. She was all smiles during the little train ride....

All that fun stirred up quite an appetite so we feasted on Sky's favorite vegetable....Corn! Nothing better than enjoying roasted corn at a Fall Festival!

Relaxing in a barrel of cracked corn...

Of course our little dare devil had to climb the hay stacks. Daddy stayed close by...

The outdoor fun was complete when we saw the tire swings. This proved to be big fun!

Before heading home, Sky wanted one more trip through the corn maze and another stop at the pumpkin patch. She rearranged the pumpkins, organizing the variety of sizes, at her liking, before posing for one last photo. We Definitely a splendid day! Family, Festivities & Food + Fun!! Are you enjoying the Fall season?
