Our sweet Ladybug is certainly no stranger to water. In fact, she thrives in it! The weather has been in true Florida form.....Hot & Sunny......so we thought it was time to bring out her Valentine's day gift, grabbed one of her bathing suits and lather her down in SPF 50!
As soon as Daddy placed her in the pool and those little toes touched the water, the fun began!
Skyler's independence quickly took over and off she went exploring her new Water Palace.
The smiles, the clapping and the splashing was infectious! I soon found myself joining in the fun, when I wasn't snapping pictures! (feet only, didn't want to cramp her space...lol)
These next pictures were taken for Uncle Larry! Skyler wanted to demonstrate how she can captain her own boat and hopes to be able to help her Uncle steer his boat during our annual weekend trip to Lake Roy this upcoming Labor Day! Pretty darn good, huh? Her balance is amazing and her legs are super strong. Perfect timing since our little one starts swim classes this Monday! Dr. Eanett did say she was quite fearless when we visited him for her one year check up last Wednesday. Yes, he found her to be quite tall for her age and also very animated....still having that "I've never met a stranger" attitude.
Skyler will soon be exploring her Soak n Splash Animal park that her Cousin Jared and Jordan bought her for her very 1st birthday. It's a trio of inflatable animals that simply connects to a garden hose. Skyler will be able to cool off under the gentle giraffe waterfall, get soaked in the soft sprinkler elephant, and even splash around in the sparkling alligator spray pool. (see pic below) Definitely, a fun summer ahead! Get ready Glammey....lol
