The sports pub was stocked with fans as we waked into Tampa's "Press Box" with Glammey & Papa. Papa wearing his Union Jack attire, Glammey sporting her American flag vest and Skyler in neutral mint green.
Skyler witnessed her very first World Cup action yesterday. The United States vs England. A First World Cup match up since the American 1-0 victory at the 1950 Tournament in Brazil. My how much has happened since then. My parents immigrated our whole family in the 70's. I met my hubby Tom (who is 1/2 English) 30 plus years later and then came our greatest gift, Sweet Skyler!
It was such a fun afternoon, as we watched the American soccer team tie England 1-1. Talk about riding the fence...Our 1/2 Brit ~ 1/2 American rooted for both teams. She was her jovial self, just grabbing both flags and having a blast. The crowd definitely had an extra ounce of entertainment.
