Barbecuing is a natural part of any 4th of July Holiday and after the showers stopped, we definitely fired up our grill and enjoyed special moments with our friends, "The Knowles". Skyler was quite excited to spend the evening with Clayton. They've been buddies since birth. Attending each other's birthday parties, Kiwanis functions and many play dates. Here they are eating popcorn, as we wait for the rain to subside.
Then it was time for some patio fun....
Sky likes to share her toys, so it was back inside.....
and of course some book reading......

Finally the rain stopped, so we changed the Princess into some play clothes and let her enjoy the wet outdoors with Clayton.

After dinner, it was finally time to let the kids enjoy the sparklers. This was Skyler's first encounter with the bright, fiery sticks and she acted like a seasoned pro! I just had a blast watching Sky and Clayton. Definitely two adorable toddlers!
Even the guys joined in!
By 9:30, we called it quits and made plans for another family get together super soon.
