We rode our bikes to see the Hawxwell Family, so Skyler could get one last "quickie" play date with Reese before flying to Tennessee in the morning. These two gal pals enjoyed a few hours of outdoor fun, since it will be at least ten days before they reunite.
Jump scotch, aka hop scotch, was a first for Skyler but after the second attempt, she was a jumping pro, successfully completing the sequence! I remember this being one of my favorite childhood outdoor games. Next time we play, I'll number the boxes and we'll use a stone.
It sure was a beautiful afternoon and although it was time to say goodbye, they hugged, kissed and even shared the same statement, "I'll Miss You!" Sweet friends, indeed!
