Itsy Bitsy Spider!

Skyler's Fourth Halloween was definitely memorable! Our Princess wanted to dress up as a Spider, so I tried to find the cutest "girly" spider outfit out there and I think we succeeded by leaps and bounds! Skyler's imagination is quite expansive, so no telling what she'll come up with next year!
Introducing Miss Skyler Spider....

Skyler was super excited to show off her costume at school and could not wait for all the festivities to begin.

Out the door & off we go...
Perfect timing as we pulled into the school parking lot for Reese was arriving at the exact same time. What's a Halloween without a Sweet Spider and a Precious Pirate!

Once the girls got inside, their first stop was to see Ms. Cherry, the school administrator. I told you she was excited to show off her spider outfit! Ms. Cherry asked Sky if she was a scary spider and Skyler said, "No, I'm a Happy Spider!" Class was filled with adorable costumes, fun crafts and even a school parade, featuring all the children.

Lining up for the parade.....

All that adventure produced an appetite, so it was snack time and then also time for me to head back to work!
The Halloween Festivities continued into the evening. The Hawxwell Family joined us in the Trunk or Treat event held at the girls school. We grabbed the wigs and became the Four Blonde Bombers! Hey, parents gotta have fun, too!

We were so happy to have Gammey spend the Halloween Holiday with us. This was also her first trunk or treat event!

The First United Methodist Church sponsor this annual event and it was fun for the girls. Volunteers from the church bring their cars with their trunks decorated and park in a section along Lake Morton. The children go from trunk to trunk. Skyler made no hesitation asking for candy from anyone, not even from those dressed in scary costumes. She would just smile & say, "Trick or Treat"!

Our Fearless Spider.....

We ran into Clayton Knowles while enjoying the many games and inflatable bounce house and slide.
The slide was Skyler's favorite.....

Reese, too....

Definitely a fun Trunk or Treat event for the entire family, but the fun did NOT stop there. We loaded the girls into the red wagon and went to about 20 houses in our neighborhood, so the girls could enjoy running up to the doors and ringing the bell.
Trick or Treating in the "Meadows" 2012.....

Every time someone answered the door that had a dog, Skyler would go inside and pet the pups. It was so funny and luckily, everyone invited her in and the animals were friendly. Sky is a dog lover for sure!
We used two wagons during our festivities. One to pull the kids and one to tote the adult cocktails!
There were many great displays along our travels and we became kids all over again! Having Gammey and the Hawxwell Family share in all the Spooky Festivities with us just made it the best Halloween for US! Hope you all got more treats than tricks this Halloween Year.

More Adult fun ahead.....

Now you know where Sky gets her blonde locks....
