Daddy, Skyler and the rest of Polk County students/teachers had the day off from school this past Monday, in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Although I still had to work, I just mixed Bug Business with Princess Play. Total success!
We really enjoyed a full family day. In fact, the weather was so gorgeous (don't hate...lol) we took a 2 mile walk around Lake Hollingsworth. It's actually a 2.8 mile stroll, but we turned around at the one mile marker, since our ten year old dog joined us. Sky sure does adore her dog, Laney and certainly enjoys taking her on walks.

Once we hit the one mile marker, we turned around and headed back to our car that was parked at the Yacht Club.
Arriving home, we jumped back into Princess play and crafts while Daddy grilled BBQ chicken and corn on the cob. Hope your Monday was spent doing something fun!
