Super Weekend~Super Moon

The biggest and brightest full moon of the year appeared this weekend. Although it was quite beautiful, seeing Skyler & her Gammey together all weekend was even better! It was a weekend full of big laughter, tons of hugs and lots of excitement!

Gammey arrived Friday shortly after lunch time. We enjoyed dinner at the Red Elephant then did some shopping at Lakeside Village. We didn't stay out too late because we knew we had a big day planned for Saturday.
Age 16 right around the corner???
That morning, Skyler became the stylist and gave Gammey a courtesy "hair do" before spending the day at Ikea in Tampa.

We worked up quite the appetite while shopping, so we took advantage of their cafe and grabbed a quick bite. We scored on some great purchases, especially a new rug for the living room. Sorry Tom, but bye-bye bachelor pad rug! That deserves a High-Five!
After our great shopping experience, we enjoyed the evening outside in our backyard.
Skyler is pretty awesome hitting the baseball. We just lay the balls around her and she places it on the tee and then whacks the heck outta it! The boys at church are always telling us she's got quite the arm. They toss the football around in the parking lot after church and Sky likes to get in on the action. Looks like her skills are paying off!

This picture speaks for itself! Love IT!!!
While that super moon was bright, Daddy had the coal red hot! He grilled rib eye steaks and Skyler & Gammey sauteed mushrooms. She loves to be the great helper.

Introducing Chef Skyler.....

The Princess really had an amazing day and she even got to witness the big, bright moon. Yes, we let her stay up past her bed time! This meant extra hugs and kisses for Gammey.
Skyler was anxious to see her Gammey this morning. Perhaps that's the reason for her 6:30 rise-n-shine time? We just love it when Gammey spends the weekend with us. Tom & I actually become invisible. Lol! Sky will have Gammey for a whole week super soon! We leave this Tuesday for our 3rd Annual Girl Trip to Tennessee. Yippie!
