A Royal Celebration!

Skyler's big day finally arrived and the royal celebration began right on time!
The church hall was beautifully decorated for all the Princesses and Princes. As soon as you entered, one was greeted to a sea of pink and purple. The front table welcome all SIXTEEN of her little friends with Jeweled Tiaras and Prince Dastan's, "Dagger of Time" swords.
The Birthday Princess....
Party Favors....

Another designated table was the yummy candy station or as it is called, "Skyler's Sweet Shop" where the children had the option to fill their bags with all sorts of pink and purple candies. The choices were endless and consisted of Majestic M&M's, King Grape Rock Sticks, Queen Cotton Candy Rock Sticks, Grape Crush Jelly Beans, Bubble Gum Jelly Beans, Grape Gummy Bears, Yogurt Covered Pretzels and Watermelon Rings.

The candy bags read "Thank you for coming to my 4th Royal Celebration!" Princess Skyler.
No party is complete without a cake. And what's a Princess Party without a Princess Castle cake? I introduce, Heavenly Royal Cake
Here is a table featuring some of the delicious food for our special guests. Crowned shape PB&J sandwiches, Chicken Castle Croissants, Chicken Castle Croissants with pecans and cranberries, Noble Nuggets, Victorian Vegetables and Magical Fruit wands...

Seating for all 17 enchanted party-goers....
Flowers to decorate the tables by my dear friend and Petal's Flower shop owner, Linda Kelly.
The royal event began at 12:30. Gammey arrived from San Francisco just in time. Her plane did not land into Tampa until 3AM that morning!
Auntie Kevie and Uncle Dog drove all the way over from Merritt Island to celebrate with the Princess.

Soon her friends arrived, including Reese....

The girls were excited to see the cake. It was designed from our local Publix and baked with much love from Leslie. Leslie has been creating cakes for Skyler since her 1st birthday. We stop by weekly and the two usually chat up a storm then Sky walks away with a free cookie.
And more friends from school, Bella & Jordan...
The party began with a face painter. The kids loved Miss Dolly and every child participated! The birthday girl was first and choose a butterfly on one hand & a fairy princess on the other. Hannah and Reese were next in line.

Such fun with plenty of smiles....
Charlotte, Skyler's "Big Sister" from church decided to have her pretty face painted.
For live entertainment, we hired a magician who came all the way from the east coast, Melbourne. Masley and Reese grabbed the two chairs next to Princess Skyler.
It was a packed 1/2 circle.....All 17 kiddos enjoyed the performance from the magician and balloon artist John Anderson. Even the parents got some giggles out of his act.

Of course the birthday girl got to help with a few tricks!

After a wonderful 45 minute show, the final act was to turn the cardboard bunny (shown on the box) into a real live white bunny.....Skyler said the magic words 'Abracadabra' and then waved her wand.
TaDa!
A real live furry bunny appeared...
Hello Birthday girl!

This was definitely a great way to close a wonderful show. The children loved it and each one got to pet the bunny.

After face painting and the magic show, we had hungry kids ready for a feast! While everyone enjoyed the delicious food, John went around the table and made balloon animals for each guest.

Skyler's buddy since birth, Clayton Knowles...
Sky asked for a puppy dog.

My favorite part was singing Happy Birthday to our darling daughter!

One, two, three....blow!

The cake was just as great as it looked. After handing out the tiaras and swords, all the Princesses and Princes headed over to Skyler's Sweet Shop and filled their bags with a variety of pink and purple yummies.

I am certain everyone had a great time.....all 17 children and 23 adults! Because the party lasted almost three hours, we decided to let everyone finish enjoying the rest of their Saturday at home with their families. I spoke to each parent and they did not mind us taking Sky's gifts home to open at a later time.

Once we arrived back to the house, Skyler opened her gift from Auntie Kevie and Uncle Dog. She was thrilled to receive a remote control PINK Barbie CORVETTE! That's right! We will continue keeping those awesome, sporty cars in the family. It's tradition! Like Mommy like Daughter!

Skyler then opened all of Gammey's gifts that included a variety of beautiful outfits, beach toys and even an umbrella! Our Angel was sad that she had to leave her princess umbrella at Auntie Chez's, so Gammey made sure she will always have one at home.

The Princess also received a souvenir from San Francisco....a rhinestone studded San Fran sleeveless top.
We were blessed to have the Clark's stay for a few hours before they traveled back to the Island.

After church, Skyler opened the remainder of her gifts from her party. Gammey stayed all weekend, so that was such a sweet gift for Sky. We certainly have a very blessed little 4 year old! She received such lovely gifts from everyone.

We ended Sunday evening enjoying a fabulous lamb dinner with Gammey and a fun game of badminton.

Skyler was still feeling like the royal Princess on Monday morning, so she enjoyed her breakfast before school in her new Castle from NeNe.

Two more gifts were waiting for Sky once she arrived home from school. She opened her package from Cousin Jared and Cousin Jordan and received an adorable dress.

Skyler's final surprise came from Robert, my employee of six years. He adores Skyler and obviously has watched her grow every day.

Friends and family are gifts bestowed by God and He has truly blessed us with Skyler and those who love her so dearly.
For the past three days, Skyler and I have been sending thank you cards and we finished thank you card #31 today. Again, thank you from the bottom of my heart!
