Skyler attended her third wedding, this time as a guest :) last Friday. We celebrated Hannah and Matthew's nuptials at the Harmony Golf Preserve in Harmony, FL. It was an outdoor rustic wedding and we were surrounded by nature...quite beautiful but extremely hot.
The wedding party gave out cute paper fans that listed the bridal party. The fans definitely came in handy, since there was a 40 minute delay. We enjoyed sharing the evening with Auntie Kevie and Uncle Dog. The bride, Hannah, is the daughter of Tom & Kevie's cousins, Todd and Cheryl Smith, who also shared in our wedding almost five years ago.
Sky sat on her Aunite's lap and received personal free "fanning" services.
The reception was held at the Grand Ballroom, steps away from the Harmony clubhouse and we enjoyed a wonderful dinner with the Clarks.
Auntie Kevie bought Skyler a little gift that came in handy during the dinner delay. She spent that time coloring Princess themed pictures with a no mess marker.
Skyler quickly made friends with some other "little" guests and even introduced herself to the bride. Yeap, she's definitely a people person! Once the music started, our Princess found the dance floor quickly! That doesn't surprise you, right?
Before leaving, Skyler had her picture taken with Todd's Mother/Hannah's Grandmother Shirley. Shirley was dear friends with Iona, Skyler's late Grandma and Tom's lovely Mom.
Because of the long drive home, we ended up leaving by 10:30. Sky kept asking about the cake, since it had not been cut or sampled by our Sweet Tooth Angel herself. She soon forgot once we started our 75 mile journey home. Within minutes in the car, she was fast asleep!
