Finally Four!

May 29th arrived with a bang! As soon as the Princess woke up, she came running out of her bedroom screaming, "Goodbye Three, Hello Four!" I gave her a sweet kiss, wished her a happy birthday and made her a big Princess pancake for breakfast topped with whipped cream and FOUR cherries.

After a singing happy birthday, Skyler had no trouble blowing out the candle. She's become quite the pro!

 Delicious!
The night before, we made 20 cupcakes for her class mates to enjoy. We packed them up and headed to school, singing songs the entire way!

Sky's whole class wished her a Happy Birthday and her teachers, Mrs Jenny and Ms. Tina, surprised Skyler with a message on the white board.
The Princess was quickly greeted by her male classmates, Zack, Henry and Luke.
Princeton and Reese joined in the celebration!
After school, Skyler was excited to open her gifts from her family.

She picked the littlest one to unwrap first.

Sky received a 2013 Happy Birthday silver coin from Uncle Bogie and Auntie Nicola. They have been buying her one each year for Christmas and her birthday.
Sky also received a huge 13 piece beach bucket playset and chalk-a-doos from Auntie Nic & Uncle Bogie.

Auntie Cheryl and Uncle Charles sent the Princess six pair of shoes...some for church, some for play and some for casual wear. Definitely perfect timing since Skyler's foot has grown another size.
 Cool running shoes....
Cousin Nikki and Cousin Austin sent Sky a Princess Ariel bath tub toy. You can just tell by the pictures how excited she was!

They also gave her a beautiful outfit and pretties from the Children's Place store. She insisted on wearing it for school the next day!

Cousin Jodi & Cousin Dustin surprised Skyler with a Princess Birthday Barbie. So appropriate for the special occasion.

Tom's cousins Bob & Sandy Larson sent a collection of Princess books all the way from Connecticut. We'll get tons of use out of these lovely books. Sky is an avid reader and can memorize a story (word for word) after a few times listening to me read it.
Our wonderful friends, Skip & Maryl Richey, never forget Skyler and sent her a sweet card with Belle stickers.

My dear friend of 22 years, Micki, mailed Skyler an adorable necklace, magnet and a generous check that will be used for an all day shopping spree with Mummy!
Although Gammey was still in San Francisco, she mailed the Princess a card and we took comfort in knowing that she would be back in time for her big birthday bash celebration on June 1st. Auntie Kevie & Uncle Dog (Larry) were coming, too!
Betty Lou & Ron and Granlee sent such pretty cards....
The Princess received a few goodies from her #1 fan club.....we bought Sky a barbie, an etch-a-sketch, bath crayons, an electric tooth brush and a Princess portable cd player.

Just when we thought the evening couldn't get any better, NeNe (my best friend, Denise) surprised Skyler with a visit and an arm full of presents.
Her goodies included a book with a magic wand, tons of outfits (five to be exact) and a 4 foot Princess Castle tent.

 NeNe & Skyler...friends for life!

Sky worked up an appetite after opening all her presents, so we took Skyler out for a dinner celebration of her choice. Our lover wanted loaded cheese fries, so Chili's was the best place to satisfy her wish. It was such a fun evening and we shared many laughs!

The servers came over to sing Happy Birthday and then we all dove into the triple chocolate dessert. Total Yum!

 Goodness in every bite!

Still can not believe my sweet Angel is officially a 4 year old. I've always considered myself blessed, but after Skyler's birthday celebration, I am even more grateful for the love and friendship from my amazing family and incredible friends. I love each and everyone of you! God just continues to glorify our lives!

I'm looking forward to sharing Skyler's Princess Party (from this past Saturday) with you all. It was such a spectacular day and I am certain you'll enjoy the 80 pictures that I have ready for you! Stay tuned....
