Skyler had a wonderful week and stayed quite busy with her new advanced gymnastics class, daily swimming lessons at Florida Southern College and flag football at the Y. We decided to end our week with a lunch picnic at Lake Morton and do some duck feeding.
As soon as we got comfortable and started to enjoy lunch, all the two legged furry friends appeared.
Sky really had fun with these two whites geese. Talk about personalities. These waterfowls took to Skyler without any hesitation. They came up as a pair and went under our picnic table to obviously avoid the duck crowds.
We threw the bread underneath and then Sky decided she'd pay them a visit and offer a personal touch.
The geese finally came out from under the table and continued being friendly. Sky was able to fed her new furry friends write out of her hand.
The Princess said goodbye to God's creatures after enjoying 2 hours at the lake.
We then walked around the corner to the library and checked out some books before heading home. Definitely a great way to end a school and much busy week.
