When Mother nature spoils you with 83 degree weather in mid February, I definitely count my blessings for being a Floridian and then I grab the Princess for an out door play date!
We started our fun in the back yard and played on the gym set. This gift keeps on giving! A sure favorite of Skylers. She glanced over and noticed Laney in the fort, so she decided that was the place to be, so up the ladder she went!
After a full hour of climbing, we decided to take a stroll around the neighborhood. Skyler saw a large hedge of bamboo bushes and just had to took a quick dash over to investigate and touch.
She spotted a puddle of water and well, you all know her love for the wet stuff.......
Once we returned home, Skyler helped me fill the bird baths and bird feeder. We get a few cardinals that visit us each morning and evening, so we like to keep them happy!
Our second bird bath is located right under the feeder. Sky likes to remove any leaves or seeds that might happen to fall in the copper basin and then it's a 'must do' splash in the water!
The neighborhood cat likes to sleep under our spare bedroom window and Skyler is well aware of it's habits. She always checks to see if Kitty is there and today was no different.
Still the affectionate toddler, here she is giving a sweet kiss to the garden cardinal statue, then it was off to explore some more.
We hope you get to enjoy the outdoors as much as we have today! Our northern family & friends are welcome to visit anytime. No snow here.....just sunshine and the sweetest blonde girl around!
