Welcome #15

I asked Skyler to show me her new peggy and the above photograph is the real-deal action shot. Looks like she's saying grrrrr. Too bad you can't count all her pearly whites. #15, a.k.a. the upper right canine, popped through on Super Bowl Sunday. Two teeth in less than a week. That explains the running nose minus the cold like symptoms. Anyway, still our happy little toddler while teething.

Skyler is still enjoying her grocery cart. In fact, it's really encouraged 'pretend play', a hallmark characteristic of childhood. She chatters to her dolls and stuffed animals about her play time plans. (very cute to eavesdrop on!) Today we spent time with the groceries. Skyler hands me the veggies, fruits, snacks, & canned goods, naming each plastic piece in the process. We then pretend to nibble on all the goodies. After emptying her cart, our little mountain goat likes to climb inside and stand tall. We can't thank Cousin Nikki and her hubby Austin enough for such a delightful and very useful Christmas present!

Ta-Da!
