Park Adventure

Tom & I spent yesterday evening at Peterson Park with Skyler. It was her first visit to a city park and she had such a great time. The park is nestled on 38.3 acres and is only a quick 2 miles from our home. We began with a nature stroll along Lake John. It was exactly a one mile walk on a beautiful paved trail with water on both sides.

View from the bridge.

Once we returned to our starting point, we let Skyler explore the children's play ground, featuring three very large jungle gym sets.

Although the sun had set, it was very well lit. Skyler and her Daddy quickly ran to the swings!

Skyler had the most fun on the jungle gym set. It was definitely her favorite activity and she explored every inch! Her climbing skills are amazing and she was fearless through the tunnels.

After playing with the rubber steering wheels, she and along with that huge smile went right inside the tunnel tubes.

It was getting close to bed time, so we headed back to the car, but took a few moments to watch a little league team practice before loading up. We'll definitely visit again....real soon!
