2nd Annual Daddy-Daughter Day!

Tom & Skyler spent their Daddy-Daughter Day at the wild world of Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo. I was happy that the tradition was continuing during Tom's Spring Break. They went on March 13th and sure had fun exploring the Zoo.
With more than 1500 animals, housed in 56 acres of lush natured habitats, they definitely observed many animals and got close to a few of them. Sky's an animal lover, so it quickly captured her attention. Her vocabulary is quite extensive and she can name almost every animal! Here are a few of her favorites....

After veiwing all the animals and enjoying  the Overland Express train ride through the park, the Princess went round and round on the colorful carousel.

By the end of the day, our water lover headed to the Manatee Fountains near the Zoo's main entrance for a splashin' good time! This splash ground is situated among tall palm trees with plenty of benches for Daddy to relax while watching Skyler play. And play she did!

This annual event is such a powerful way to express the bond between father and daughter. I just know in my heart that Skyler will share an amazing relationship as the years continue with Tom as I did with my Daddy. A truly special gift!
