Co-Starring Skyler Short!

The big day finally arrived. On March 24th, our "Pretty in Purple" Skyler was ready to perform her flower girl duties for her Cousin Jared and Jordan. The wedding ceremony took place at Knowles Memorial Chapel located on the campus of Rollins College, which just happens to be the oldest, recognized college in the state of Florida.
The chapel is a historic Mediterranean Revival Building that still has the original pews. It truly is a historic jewel.
We arrived to the chapel a bit early so Skyler could get dressed. She was quite giddy to resume her role as "flower girl" and the setting was perfect! Pretty dresses every where and if you know the Princess, then you know she loves to wear a dress.

After a few pictures, we went back to the waiting area to be with Jordan, all the beautiful bridesmaids and for Skyler to see the flower ball that she would be holding as she walked down the aisle with Nathan, the ring bearer. The two tots were excited to get reacquainted!

These two look like their on a date. Check out Nathan's arm...

It was such a beautiful ceremony. After pictures, we drove to the reception at the Sheraton Hotel in Winter Park and applauded the newly married couple as they made their grand entrance as husband & wife!
We all know Sky can cut up a rug, so to speak, especially after witnessing her performance at Cousin Jodi's wedding last November. The music began and so did the dancing. She danced, and danced......
 and danced.....
 and danced
even danced with GranLee & Jamie
 and Dustin
 and Mummy & Daddy

and with Auntie Kevie & Uncle "Dog"

Our Princess lasted until 10:15PM. Unbelievable! Those little feet finally got tired and her eyes grew heavy.

After Little Miss Party Girl fell asleep in my lap, I gently placed her in Daddy's arms, so I could make my rounds and say goodbye, before heading up to our hotel room.

It was such a beautiful wedding and we were so honored to be a part of it. Skyler received this lovely matching pearl set from her Cousin's Jared and Jordan. I'm certain Sky will wear it when dressing  up OR down. That's the beauty of pearls! The set just broadcasts timeless elegance.

Tom and I said many special prayers through out the day for my Mum. She was heavy in our hearts as we rejoiced in a new marriage on March 24th. It certainly is a day for lovers, for my parents would have celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Their affection and devotion for each other was golden!
