Valentine's #3 for Skyler fell on a school day which was super exciting since there were many activities planned, such as a party with red cupcakes! Prior to the big day, the Princess and her classmates worked for a few days decorating their shoe boxes, turning them into personalized mail boxes.
Helping Sky get all her Valentine's Day cards addressed so she could hand them out to her friends sure brought back a lot of childhood memories. We had fun, the weekend prior, creating little gift sacks filled with candy and toys for all her friends. Now I just wish I would have taken a picture of them. Oh well....Our Sweet Pea was so anxious to show me all her cards from her classmates when I came to pick her up. Two months later, she's still wanting to keep her "mail"!
Speaking of cards, here is a picture of our very first hand made card from Skyler. Just super adorable. We also received a handmade photo frame (first picture on the blog) that I'll cherish forever! Do hope you all had a heart felt Valentine's Day. We certainly did.
