"Egg"stra Blessings

Not only were the eggs filled, but Skyler's fourth Easter was filled with all day fun! The Princess woke up Sunday morning to a house full of colorful plastic eggs scattered everywhere.
She was eager to grab her basket and begin collecting.
Skyler noticed some bunny fur by the front door and was quick to point it out.
She then found her basket full of goodies and also a Tinker Bell dress up costume.

 Time to search for eggs....

The Easter Bunny left so many eggs for the Princess that she had to grab her second basket.

 All done!
Skyler enjoyed the morning looking at all her basket treasurers and chose a colorful cereal for breakfast that matched all her eggs.

We got ready for Church and Skyler said she felt extra pretty in her new Easter dress from Auntie Nicola and Uncle Bogie.
  Isn't her dress gorgeous?

The service was lovely and Sky had a wonderful time in children's church, learning about His resurrection. She made this colorful tomb that even shows where the stone had rolled away from the tomb.
Our blessings got even greater once we arrived home. Gammey was already at our house waiting for us and had a few Easter presents for her favorite Sweetie.
  A beautiful yellow dress....

Basket full of candy filled eggs and chocolate bunnies....

And saving the best for last was Skyler's own wicker basket filled with a ladybug tea set, complete with forks, knives, spoons, napkins and a table cloth. Sky loves tea parties, so this addition will definitely get plenty of use!

Skyler immediately wanted to host a tea party!

During Gammey and Sky's party, the door bell rang and the Easter Bunny left more eggs throughout the front yard.
 Time to grab the basket....

After the front yard egg hunt, it was back to the private tea party.

The weather was so gorgeous that we spent the rest of the afternoon outside enjoying all of God's beauty. Skyler was so excited to show Gammey her new talent....conquering the monkey bars! She's not only a smart little tot, but she's quite athletic.
Laney even enjoyed the sunshine with us...

Daddy grilled filet Mignon and steamed broccoli-n-carrots for dinner. We enjoyed our tasty feast in our newly built outdoor kitchen/covered patio. It has definitely become a favorite "room" to relax in. The new roof blocks the sun and the fans keep the air cool. We even added a tv, just in time to enjoy the football draft outdoors!
Easter was simply lovely!

Jesus said unto her, "I am the resurrection and the Life. He that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: John 11:25
