After a week off from Awana due to Spring Break vacation, Skyler and her Cubbie friends seemed excited to get back to bible fun. The theme last Wednesday was "Drive in Movie". Each student was asked to make a car to enjoy watching a movie in while eating popcorn and other theater refreshments .
Thanks to a recent large furniture delivery, we had a box long enough and big enough to make a two seater car. Daddy and I helped Sky create a sports car, using Styrofoam to duplicate some cool Corvette sport seats. All the Cubbie members loved Sky's car and wanted to sit in it for the Veggie Tale movie. I was so proud of Skyler for sharing, as we teach her daily of the importance of sharing.
These next few pictures captures not only some Cubbie members, but even a few students from the Puggles class enjoying Sky's car. You'll notice it got a bit wet, thanks to a sudden rain storm during our travel to church.

Hard to believe we're approaching our 3rd year worshiping at Lake Morton Community Church. Skyler has really dove into all the children's programs and is loving every minute of it. Praise God!.
