I'll set the scene for you all.......Cloudy weather, plenty of tea parties and a 100% English Gammey all wrapped up into a full weekend for the Princess! You can definitely say it was a typical British weekend!
Skyler left last Friday, after school, to spend quality time with her Gammey in Madiera Beach. While Daddy and I enjoyed a "closed" kitchen and plenty of adult time, Sky soaked in every minute of her weekend get-a-way.
They started off with a quick trip to Publix to shop for a few of the Princess' favorite items.
Once they arrived back to the condo, a walk on "Nic's" trial and a tea party immediately commenced. The pictures tell a very happy story indeed.....
And what's a beautiful table without a freshly picked center piece?
and a little dancing.....
After a delicious and private tea party, Sky enjoyed an ice cream sandwich. With all the white carpet and white furniture in Gammey's condo, I'm not surprised she ate it outside. Lol!
Later in the afternoon, the Princess and her Gammey enjoyed an trip to the beach. It was perfect weather, since no sunbathing was needed. I'm sure I've mentioned in the past that sunbathing and young children do not mix. Anyway, the weather was a typical England day......plenty of clouds, hint of rain and breezy! Sure didn't stop our sweetie from enjoying another amazing creation from God.
It was time for another picnic come Sunday morning. Same spot, just a different table center piece.
Perfect form ahead.....British style!
Skyler never goes to Gammey's without enjoying some bubble making fun.
Daddy and I arrived to pick up Sky around 4:30, but before leaving, we all enjoyed dinner at the Angry Pepper Waterside Smokeshack & Gill located on the Intercoastal waterway. It was a first visit for all of us and we went home with happy tummies. When great food and over 100 different beers to choose from run together in a dockside setting, great things happen!
Sky stuck to her favorite cocktail, Sprite!
To my account, everyone had a blast this weekend! Skyler was upset to leave and cried for over 30 minutes in the car, but after telling her to think about all the wonderful memories she made, she quickly stopped and began sharing her wonderful stories with best friend, Gammey!
