Crowd Pleaser

Sand boxes are loads of fun and I'm convinced every home should sport one in the back yard! One of Skyler's birthday gifts included her very own sand box, built right under her play set. Perfect for sun cover. Once Daddy got the box filled with pearly white sand and gathered all her beach toys, we let the Princess come see her surprise. She couldn't wait to dive in and dig!

In addition to the usual sand castles forms, buckets, shovels and other fun beach toys, Sky got creative and brought in some plastic grocery items from her play kitchen, along with plates and forks. She's requested farm animals and people figurines. Her creativity level is quite high and I feel there is no comparison to a child's imagination.

It's definitely been a happy addition to the back yard.
I've even dug my toes into the beach like atmosphere!

Skyler has invited her first "non-family" guest to play in it with her. Tomorrow afternoon, Clayton is coming over for a play date and I'm sure this will be the hot spot!
