During Skyler's retreat, the Princess got crafty and decorated a card for her Daddy. I couldn't blog about it earlier, since it would have spoiled the surprise.
When the card arrived, via air mail, Skyler was super excited and started telling me all about her decorating day!

Speaking of extra touches, Daddy wanted to pop by the Piney's Pad located a few miles up the road for a short visit and to check out their amazing new and extravagant Tiki bar and pool deck. Although we only stayed about an hour, Skyler took advantage of the pool and had some fun with Miss Linda! Sky is a big Miss Linda fan. She's babysat numerous times, especially during my Father's illness.
After our quick visit, we spent the remaining part of Father's Day grilling steaks & acorn squash (Sky's favorite veggie) and enjoying the outdoor weather!
