Skyler's back and the pictures are in! You may recall Sky's adventure last weekend to Gammey's, a.k.a our 2nd Honeymoon. (hehe) Well, the Princess had an amazing, fun packed get-a-way with Auntie Nicola and Gammey! Once she went through that front door, her first stop was to Gammey's bedroom where all her toys and other goodies are kept. This is nothing new.......until that Friday afternoon.
Skyler just happened to open Gammey's jewelry box and found a future gift for our Sweetie. Her very own Princess watch! She came running into the kitchen to show Gammey her new found treasure and it instantly was worn.
Gammey explained to Skyler that the Princess watch was extra special because her very own Papa purchased it for her before he passed away. Here she is looking up into God's Kingdom thanking her wonderful Papa. This watch will forever hold a cherished memory. It was his last gift to her, besides his deep love.
After a quick snack and much admiring of the watch, Auntie Nicola & Skyler took a walk on her favorite trail.
Making sure Auntie Nic is keeping up.....
She saw lots of wildlife...
They approached the Tiki hut and decided it would be the perfect place for a picnic.
Back to exploring...
followed by a short juice break....
Skyler had a fun afternoon with her Auntie Nicola and shared it with Gammey. That evening they decided to make music and play on the computer. Yes, Sky has her very own computer kept at Gammey's pad!
Come Saturday morning, the group was off to a trip to the St. Petersburg's, Great Explorations Children's Museum located downtown next to historic Sunken Gardens.
Here's our a very tall girl posing in new clothes from Auntie Nicola & Uncle Bogie.
Nothing but fun, fun, fun ahead....
The museum was loaded with make believe professions!
Even had a ficticious cafeteria...
All that fun and pretend food made the Princess hungry, so an enjoyable stop for a Happy Meal did the trick!
That evening, Skyler read books to Gammey & Auntie Nicola.
Sunday was a full day off shopping. We all know the Princess is no stranger to that! In fact, it's probably in the top ten of "Favorite Things To Do!"
Another appetite was brewing after all that shopping! Here's some funny pictures of Gammey explaining to Skyler how finger prints by a little boy got on the glass windows. Auntie Nicola said it was an intense talk and Sky kept saying the boy was naughty for touching the window and making a mess!
After explaining the mess on the windows, little Miss Neat cleaned it up!
Daddy and I arrived that Sunday around 4:30 to pick up our Darling and to give Gammey & Auntie Nicola a much needed nap. Before we traveled back to Lakeland, we enjoyed the evening at the American Legion for dinner with the amazing water front scenery. Such a pretty, sunny day so glasses were a must!
It's been a full week and Skyler is still talking about her Girl Weekend without the Parents. She had such a fantastic time and that adorable princess watch from Papa has only come off during bath time and sleep time. She wears it everywhere and has proudly showed it to all her friends at school!
